Australia stays tight - Qantas is hiring

Since the borders will remain closed until 2021, Qantas is suspending almost all international connections. There is only hope for flights to New Zealand. The Australian Oneworld member Qantas is suspending most international flights until the end of October 2020. Connections to New Zealand are excluded from this, as it is expected that the two governments will allow travel between Australia and New Zealand. The company also wants to continue flying within the continent. The background to this measure is that the Australian government will extend the closure of the borders until 2021. The only exceptions are its own citizens, permanent residents and their relatives. After the entry formalities, a 14-day quarantine must be undertaken in accommodation designated by the health authority. The government is currently considering exceptions for students and key workers.
