This also includes 162 former employees of the company who initially left the company with a commitment to reinstatement. “With the best connectivity to and from the Baltic Sea region, we were able to recruit a total of 559 motivated specialists for our team last year. It has certainly helped Latvia on its way to recovering from the economic impact of the pandemic. Since more aircraft will be added to our fleet this year, we will need additional staff in the future, ”says airline boss Martin Gauss. Air Baltic currently has a total of 1.558 employees.
