The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing was able to deliver a total of 2021 commercial aircraft to customers in 340. It is significantly below the European competitor Airbus, which had 611 jets.
In the fourth quarter of last year, Boeing handed over 99 aircraft to airlines and lessors. At the same time, 80 new orders were landed. Of these, 50 are part of the Allegiant Boeing 737 order. Atlas Air ordered four B777Fs and Southwest chose another seven B737-Max.
In terms of new orders, Boeing performed better than Airbus last year. The Americans were able to land 909 gross orders. The European competitor brought it to 771 gross new orders.
