Edelweiss is ramping up the North America program again
The holiday airline Edelweiss flew to the United States of America again on Wednesday after a break of almost two years. The comeback flight went from Zurich to Tampa Bay (Florida). The route will be served every Wednesday and Friday. "Today is a special day for Edelweiss. We have waited a long time for this moment. We are very pleased that we can now offer our guests holiday destinations in the USA and Canada again," said company boss Bernd Bauer. On Monday, March 28, 2022, Edelweiss will resume nonstop flights to Las Vegas. This destination will also be served twice a week, and from June even three times a week. Just in time for the holiday season in the USA, Edelweiss will also open the Zurich-Denver route from June 13. This destination will be served every Monday and Friday until September. From May 15, 2022, Edelweiss will fly to Vancouver again. This route will initially be served on Tuesdays and Sundays. From June 2022, flights will also be operated on Saturdays. The reactivation of the Calgary route is announced for June 5, 2022. This destination will be served every Wednesday and Sunday. With the new holiday destinations, Edelweiss will offer 59 destinations in 19 countries on short and medium-haul routes and 19 destinations in 13 countries on long-haul routes this summer.
