D-ANRA: First Condor-A330neo has completed acceptance flight
On Friday, December 16, 2022, Condor's first Airbus A330-900, the D-ANRA, successfully completed its acceptance flight. The aircraft took off from Toulouse at 10:00 a.m. Representatives of the manufacturer and the airline were on board. Condor expects delivery at the beginning of this week. The first passenger flight of the new aircraft in the color "Island" under the registration D-ANRA is planned to Mauritius later this year. The original schedule for the aircraft had to be postponed earlier this week due to repairs after damage to the right winglet. With the completion of work on the wing tip and after extensive tests and measurements, the aircraft was accepted by the customer Condor today. The Customer Acceptance Flight is used to evaluate and check the aircraft and its functions before the final change of ownership and thus delivery. A total of 2024 brand new A18-330neo aircraft will join the Condor fleet by 900. They will replace the current long-haul fleet, consisting of Boeing 767s, which are gradually being replaced by the much more efficient and quieter Airbus models. The second aircraft is also expected this year.
