Tap flies more frequently from Porto to Geneva and Zurich

In the 2023 summer flight schedule, the airline Tap Air Portugal is expanding its traffic between Porto and Switzerland. In the future, flights to Geneva and Zurich will be more frequent. The increases will come into effect with the change to the 2023 summer period. In the future, Tap will fly between Porto and Geneva on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. This will increase the offer by a weekly rotation. Zurich, which is currently served three times a week from Porto, will also be served five times a week from March 26, 2023.

The low-cost airline Wizz Air will discontinue the non-stop connection between Tirana and Friedrichshafen. The last flight for the time being is scheduled to take place on January 21, 2023. This is not the only route that will be discontinued from Germany. Also affected by the cuts: Riga and Plovdiv from Dortmund and Sibiu from Frankfurt-Hahn. Summer 2023: Pegasus launches additional Germany-Turkey routes

The Turkish airline Pegasus is further increasing its presence in Germany in the 2023 summer flight schedule. In April 2023, the nonstop connection between Berlin and Ankara, which was last operated in 2011, will be reactivated. The resumption will initially be operated once a week with Boeing 737-800 aircraft. As of June 14, 2023, Pegasus plans to fly between Elazig and Cologne/Bonn every Thursday with Airbus A320s. The tour operator Tui Austria is offering families who organize their own travel to their holiday destinations until February 28, 2023, free accommodation for their children up to and including the age of eleven. According to Tui, the offer only applies to self-drive travelers in around 190 hotels in Austria, Italy and Croatia. Children can only stay for free if they are accommodated in their parents' room. The offer is valid for bookings made by February 28 for the travel period March 24 to September 30, 2023.
