Another VIP terminal has been put into operation at Frankfurt am Main Airport. This is located in arrivals area A of Terminal 1. The two-story facility with a total area of 1.700 square meters is used primarily to welcome arriving and departing VIP passengers. The new VIP terminal complements the existing VIP facilities in passenger area B, which is now mainly used as a transit lounge for transfer passengers. The planning and construction phase of the VIP terminal took about two years and construction costs amounted to around 20 million euros. The project uses existing building space by having Fraport redesign areas previously used by airlines. The VIP terminal can accommodate up to 100 guests for exclusive events, even if the invited guests have not booked flights. The VIP terminal has an impressive but discreetly shielded entrance right at the beginning of the terminal road. The reception area has its own parking facilities and charging stations for electric vehicles. Inside, the VIP terminal has two spacious rooms for communal use: The Global Lounge has an exquisite bar, while the library enchants passengers with its sophisticated tranquility. Guests can choose from a large selection of reading material and illustrated books. "Our VIP Services division looks back on a tradition spanning over 50 years and a consistently holistic approach. Nevertheless, we are always striving to renew our offering and set innovative accents in order to delight our discerning customers with a unique mix of exclusivity and a feel-good atmosphere. With the new VIP terminal, we can once again offer our passengers a new, luxurious travel experience that lives up to the tradition of our internationally recognized top product," Anke Giesen, Executive
