Norwegian is gearing up for a busy summer season, offering nearly 19 million seats on over 100.000 flights and introducing 47 new routes. Popular destinations such as France, Italy and Turkey are among the highlights of the airline's summer program. This year's summer schedule sees a ten percent increase in capacity compared to 2023, with a particular focus on Denmark and 17 new routes being offered. Despite economic factors such as high interest rates and costs, there remains strong demand for summer travel among Norwegian customers. Magnus Thome Maursund, Norway's Commercial Director, highlights the popularity of new routes to Lyon and Istanbul from Oslo, and to Milan from Stavanger, highlighting the continued appeal of sunny destinations.
