Borchert and Heyne not only interpret the classics with convincing vocals, but also rely on humorous and tongue-in-cheek interactions with the audience. Arrest at Guadalajara Airport after attempted plane hijacking

A 31-year-old man was arrested at Guadalajara International Airport after attempting to divert Volaris domestic flight Y4-3041, scheduled from Silao to Tijuana. The suspect claimed that his life was threatened and that a family member had been kidnapped. He attacked a flight attendant and attempted to enter the cockpit. The crew was able to subdue the man, allowing a safe landing in Guadalajara. All passengers and crew were unharmed. The flight continued on its way after an eight-hour delay.

Bulgaria expects over 3 billion leva revenue from winter tourism

Bulgaria expects tourism revenues to exceed 2024 billion leva in the 2025/3 winter season, an increase of 30 percent compared to 2019 and 15 percent compared to the previous year. The reason for this is mainly inflation and an expanded tourist offer, according to Rumen Draganov, director of the Institute for Tourism Analysis and Forecasting. Nico Neumann becomes Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft

Deutsche Aircraft has appointed Nico Neumann as co-CEO. Neumann, who will take up his new position on January 1, 2025, will work with Dave Jackson, the current CEO, to drive the development and market launch of the D328eco, the aircraft generation planned for 2027. Neumann brings over 18 years of experience at Deutsche Aircraft and was instrumental in the development and construction of the D328eco. Jackson will oversee the handover and continue to lead the group of companies.

Condor expands Mallorca offer from Dortmund

From June 16, 2025, Condor will increase the frequency of flights from Dortmund to Mallorca in response to the ongoing high demand. The connections to the popular Balearic island will be offered daily during the peak travel season. The airline will start with three weekly flights in May before expanding to seven weekly departures by mid-June. New Lufthansa connection between Munich and São Paulo

Lufthansa has been offering a non-stop connection between Munich and São Paulo since December 9, 2024. The route is served three times a week with an Airbus A350. Departures from Munich take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:45 a.m., with return flights departing from São Paulo at 22:05 p.m. local time.
