
A flying symbol of solidarity: Lufthansa honors 25 years of Help Alliance
The Lufthansa Group is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its aid organization Help Alliance with a project: an Airbus A321neo with the registration D-AIEP is now flying on the continental route network with a special sticker made of colorful handprints. Each of these 297 handprints represents the efforts of supporters around the world who are committed to helping disadvantaged children and young people. This not only sets a highly visible sign, but also carries a message of hope and solidarity into the world. Help Alliance was founded in 1999 by committed Lufthansa employees. The aim was to combine the numerous individual efforts and make them more effective. Over the last 25 years, the organization has developed into a central pillar of the Lufthansa Group's social commitment. With a focus on education, training and work, it is involved in over 60 projects in 29 countries worldwide. The organization works closely with local partners to create sustainable prospects for children, young people and young adults. "For 25 years, we have been creating opportunities for children and young people with Help Alliance who would otherwise often have no prospects," explained Vivian Spohr, the patron of the organization. The special sticker on the Airbus is a strong symbol of the belief that we can make the world a little better together. The "Helping Hands" special sticker The centerpiece of the campaign is the special sticker on the Airbus A321neo, which shows 297 colorful handprints. These handprints were symbolically "donated" by supporters as part of a fundraising campaign.
