“Berlin Berlin”: The 1920s come back to life

On January 15, 2025, the musical "Berlin, Berlin" celebrated its premiere in the Museumsquartier Vienna, formerly known as the "Messepalast". The actual premiere of the still quite young piece, which is currently on tour, took place in the eponymous federal capital Vienna. In the 1920s in Berlin, there was a social upheaval and a cultural revolution. After the shock of the First World War, the then capital of the Reich experienced an explosion of creativity and joie de vivre, which was evident in the areas of art, music, fashion and dance. During this time, a groundbreaking cultural and social rise flourished in the Prussian capital. In art, culture, nightlife and social life, people rebelled and wanted to achieve change. Content and ensemble The musical conveys the feeling of the 1920s with the motto: "The night is worth a sin". The show takes you to the era of Berlin in the 1920s, where freedom, life and pleasure are the main focus. In this restless world we see beautiful sequined dresses that glitter in the frame light, lustful music and lyrics of various songs let the young people of that time give free rein to their feelings through dance and song. All social boundaries and norms disappear in the sinful night of Berlin and its clubs. The musical takes the characters away from their everyday lives and lets them enter the world of the "Roaring Twenties", into the ecstasy of the city of vice as it was then and still is today. Style icons such as Marlene Dietrich, the legendary entertainer of the Comedian Harmonists,

“Holiday On Ice – No Limits” A show of superlatives

This year, HOI is celebrating its 80th anniversary and is setting new standards in live entertainment and green events. When the show "Holiday On Ice - No Limits" is reported on, keywords such as spectacular, unique, grandiose are used. So it was time to visit this show to take a closer look and see if it really delivers what it promises. On January 16, 2025, the time had come in Vienna. The premiere of the ice show attracted over 4000 visitors to the Vienna Stadthalle. Peter O'Keeffe, the producer of the show, wants to "abduct" the audience into a magical world full of imagination and innovation. He succeeds in doing this through the most diverse tricks of modern technology and, of course, the staging itself. The use of impressive technology alone makes the show a visionary highlight for young and old. In the castings for the actors in his shows, he rigorously selects the best of the best figure skaters. When and where: The spectacular show “Holiday on Ice – No Limits” can be seen in the Vienna Stadthalle from January 16th and until January 26th, 2025. There are other options in Innsbruck and various cities in Germany. Prices: Tickets for this show are available from 32 euros for adults. For children up to 15 years of age, half price. Billa Dubai slices: Is it worth it?

Dubai chocolate slices are now available in Vienna, for example, at the Rewe subsidiary Billa for 5,98 euros per unit. Can they meet expectations given the price? Each pack contains two pieces. The ingredients include cream, whipped cream, pistachio paste and more. The crunchy base structure is pleasant, not overly sweet and consists of a thin chocolate sponge base of around 5 mm thickness, a 1 cm layer of angel hair, another 1 cm layer of chocolate mousse with whipped cream and a glaze made of pistachios and chocolate. The dominant flavor of pistachios can be found in the 1 cm thick layer of angel hair and pistachios. The careful selection of high-quality ingredients and the balanced composition are testament to well-thought-out quality. All in all, I would briefly describe this outstanding product as a delicate angel hair pasta creation with a delicious pistachio cream on a wafer-thin chocolate sponge base and a fine chocolate glaze. This remarkable creation deserves an unreserved recommendation and is definitely worth indulging in. Carpe Diem.

How Klagenfurt Airport looks speechlessly towards Salzburg and Innsbruck winter after winter

Austria is a winter sports paradise and attracts millions of ski tourists to the country every year. The states of Tyrol and Salzburg immediately spring to mind, but Vorarlberg, Carinthia and Styria also have a lot to offer. Olympic champions such as Benni Raich, Marcel Hirscher and Hermann Maier are well known in the two tourism strongholds, but Carinthia also has gold winners such as Franz Klammer and Matthias Mayer. But what does that mean in terms of tourism? It is known in aviation circles that the Austrian regional airports of Innsbruck and Salzburg generate a large proportion of their passenger numbers mainly in winter. Mainly through charter flights and especially on Saturdays, when the beds in the hotels are about to be changed. The ski tourists mainly fly in from regions of Northern Europe such as Denmark, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Ireland. The ranking of the most famous ski areas is often controversial. But if you follow the well-known site “Bergfex.at”, an Austrian internet platform for mountain tourism and alpine sports, you get the following top 30 list: And it is precisely these yellow marked ski areas that provide us with the transition to the main question of this report, which is: “What is going on at Klagenfurt Airport in winter?” In order to answer this as best as possible, a look at the respective arrival schedules via “Flightradar24” of the three airports should give us an overview of what is going on on a typical winter Saturday. A picture is worth a thousand words These pictures should be enough to describe the situation as best as possible! Most popular ski areas in Carinthia In addition to great skiers who regularly collect points in the World Cup in the ÖSV squad, Carinthia also has well-known ski areas. All of them
