25 Years of Underground Connection at Nuremberg Airport

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Nuremberg Airport is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its underground connection. Since 1999, the U2 line has connected the airport directly with the main train station in just 15 minutes.

Over two million passengers and employees use this service every year. The fully automated line offers travelers and trade fair visitors a fast and convenient connection. The modern subway station, which presents works by Albrecht Dürer, is an architectural feature. The connection also relieves the pressure on the streets in neighboring districts.
