It was not that long ago that the German tour operator Alltours caused a sensation with the decision that only vaccinated and convalescent people were allowed to check in at the Group's own hotels. Now the company explains that the number of new bookings should even be above the pre-crisis level.

Alltours announced in February 2021 that from October 31, 2021 only those who have been vaccinated and recovered will be allowed to check into the self-managed Allsun Hotels. At that time, a wave of astonishment went through the industry, but the rule was downright unsophisticated. Alltours sees itself confirmed by the number of new bookings.

There are special regulations for children and young people during the winter season. They can also check in on presentation of a negative corona test, with another being carried out in the hotel. Alltours bears the costs for the second test. For the summer of 2022, the 2G rules will be extended to children and young people aged 12 and over.

“We are pleased about the positive response from the guests and offer them the highest level of security. This is the future-oriented way to normality ”, emphasizes Willi Verhuven, Chairman of the Alltours management.
