In the midst of the corona pandemic, Dortmund Airport has achieved a small “feat”: While many airports are suffering from a reduced supply, the regional airport has even more destinations than in the previous year. 42 destinations in 25 countries are served - in the previous period there were 39 destinations in 22 countries.

However, the euphoric announcement of the Dortmund airport should also be treated a little with caution, because the last months and weeks have shown that due to very short-term and dynamic developments in the corona pandemic, routes are often taken later or not at all. Settings are also absolutely not uncommon. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the airlines operating in Dortmund will actually fly to 42 destinations in 25 countries.
