737-Max: China is waiting for the results of the accident investigations

While the US aviation authority has already granted the re-approval and EASA boss Patrick Ky recently stated that it will also happen in Europe, China is holding back when it comes to Boeing 737-Max. For the time being, you don't even think about letting this pattern take off again.

The CAAC stated that the two fatal accidents must first be fully resolved and the investigations completed. The Chinese also demand that all pilots have to be retrained and, in particular, fully trained on this model. According to the CAAC, there should not be a “political background”.

The Chinese aviation authority also indicated that the FAA's re-approval is believed to be “too early” as investigations into the two crashes have not yet been completed. The actual cause of the two total losses has not yet been determined and therefore, for security reasons, it was decided to wait for the results. From this it can be deduced that it will take some time before operators from the Middle Kingdom are allowed to use the Boeing 737-Max machines or foreign operators can use this type from / to China.

The Chinese were the first to ground the plane and it looks like they will be one of the last countries to let Max fly again, similarly in India.
Brazil and Canada are still waiting.
Even if the FAA has released the plane again, this does not mean that other authorities will join in.
There are still many hurdles to overcome at Boeing.

The fact that this faulty design is allowed to fly again is more politically motivated than the decision to leave the disaster aircraft on the ground.
If the 737Max had to be approved according to today's safety standards, it would probably have no chance. The fact that it is nevertheless approved is solely due to the fact that in aircraft construction it is possible, under certain conditions, to be able to refer to the original approval, for the 737 the 60s.
    ME an absurdity.
This principle of “grandfathering” was completely perverted in the 737.
The goal - more profit, the price - the safety of passengers and crew.
I will never get on that plane!
