On paper, the Japanese All Nippon Airways took over the JA383A almost two years ago. This Airbus A380 has not yet left Toulouse in France. ANA has now confirmed that the four-jet engine will be transferred to Japan in mid-October 2021.
The aircraft in question wears the orange turtle livery. Each ANA-A380 is painted or glued in a different color, so that the jets are definitely an eye-catcher. The last superjumbo destined for All Nippon Airways had to wait a very long time to be able to form a trio with the two sister aircraft in Japan.
The exact day for the transferor has not yet been determined. A spokesman said it will be in mid-October 2021. ANA uses the superjumbos in traffic between Japan and Hawaii. When the JA383A will be put into active liner service is still completely open.
