With the opening of Berlin Brandenburg Airport, AeroGround Berlin took over the ground handling services at the new capital city airport. With the move, the subsidiary of AeroGround Flughafen München GmbH will become the market leader in the field of ground handling services at Berlin Airport.

"We are all looking forward to working with the Lufthansa Group, Eurowings and our other long-term airline partners at the newly opened Berlin Brandenburg Airport and, together with the airport company, to make BER a successful capital city airport," said Simon Batt-Nauerz, Managing Director of AeroGround Berlin.

The long-term handling agreement with Deutsche Lufthansa also includes the subsidiaries Swiss, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines and includes a handling volume of around 20.000 to 30.000 flight movements per year. AeroGround Berlin's range of services includes aircraft and baggage handling on the apron, fresh water and toilet service, bus transports on the apron for passengers and crews as well as baggage identification, how to report.
