Kazakhstani airline Air Astana was named a Five Star Major Airline at the 30 Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Awards in California on October 2024, 2025.
This is the fifth time in the last seven years that Air Astana has received this prestigious award, which underlines the airline's continuous improvement in quality and commitment to passenger satisfaction.
Zhamilya Jaxybekova, Manager of Inflight Service at Air Astana, was delighted with the award and stressed the importance of the positive feedback from passengers that led to this honor. The APEX Awards are based on the evaluation of over a million flights worldwide, with travelers being able to award points for their experience on a five-star scale. This award is certified by an independent audit and is considered one of the highest seals of quality in the airline industry.
In addition, Air Astana received the Skytrax award in June 2024, which is based on an in-depth analysis of service quality both on board and on the ground. These two awards confirm the airline's holistic commitment to excellent service throughout the entire flight journey.
