The planned sale of Tap Air Portugal is currently on hold – at least for the time being. A new privatization attempt will be made soon. Air France-KLM once again emphasizes that it is still interested.

Lufthansa, IAG and Air France-KLM are considered top interested parties to buy the Portuguese airline. The latter group of companies recently emphasized to the EFE agency that they are still interested and are eagerly awaiting the government's next steps. It is expected that a new call for tenders could take place in the next few weeks or months.
