The prestigious “Living Legends of Aviation Europe” Awards 2024 were presented at Lake Wolfgang in Austria. International greats from the aerospace industry, business and society gathered to honor the outstanding achievements of 11 award winners.
Among those honored were Markus Bucher, CEO of Pilatus Aircraft, and Dieter Morszeck, founder of Rimowa. Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury received the Lifetime Aviation Industry Leader Award. The event also featured a spectacular flight program, including Eurofighters from the Austrian Armed Forces and Red Bull pilot Dario Costa. At the same time, the future of mobility was discussed in the newly created Science Lounge, with a focus on hydrogen and alternative drives.
