Altenrhein Airport will resume regular and unrestricted operations on June 15, 2020. On this day, the in-house airline Peoples will be serving the “Vienna Shuttle” again.

After the partial opening on May 11, 2020, the operators of the St.Gallen-Altenrhein airfield are pleased to be able to resume operations from June 15, 2020 without restriction and in compliance with the protective measures. From June 15, 2020, regular opening times will apply again for scheduled operations as well as commercial and private air traffic. The previous additional pre-registration for aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of more than 3 tons is therefore no longer necessary.

The current entry regulations apply to cross-border flights. Pilots and passengers are encouraged to check with the relevant authorities in the respective country before their flight.

The previous channeling of passenger flights from abroad at Zurich, Geneva and Basel airports will be lifted on June 8, 2020. Direct entry at Altenrhein Airport will then be possible again. The currently restricted airfield opening times apply until June 14, 2020.
