Again: Another bomb threat against Basel Airport

On Tuesday, October 24, 2023, Basel Airport had to be evacuated for the third time in a few days due to a bomb threat. Flight operations had to – once again – be temporarily stopped.

By now one should assume that the authorities have become somewhat routine, because on Tuesday from 17:30 p.m. local time the airport had to be closed again due to a bomb threat. This was lifted at 19:15 p.m. because the threat again turned out to be a false alarm.
