The Latvian airline Air Baltic had around 2023 passengers on board in August 494.400. In a direct comparison with the same month last year, transport performance was increased by 28 percent.

In August, Air Baltic operated 4 flights, an increase of 250% compared to the previous year. “We are pleased that the number of passengers continues to increase compared to last year. In August, we carried almost half a million passengers in a single month, indicating that we are approaching the results of July this year, which were among the highest in Air Baltic's history. “In addition, the recent launch of 24 new routes across all of our home markets has generated great interest and offered passengers a wide range of travel options,” said company boss Martin Gauss.
