For the 2024 autumn holidays, TUI is seeing high demand for package flights to the seaside, especially to destinations in the Mediterranean and more remote regions.

The top holiday destinations on medium-haul routes are Hurghada on the Red Sea, Antalya on the Turkish Riviera and Heraklion on Crete. On long-haul routes, the United Arab Emirates, the Maldives and Mauritius are the most popular. Particularly noteworthy is the sharp rise in popularity of Crete and Gran Canaria, which have recorded significant growth compared to the previous year.

TUI offers numerous flights to these popular destinations in Austria. For Crete, for example, there are several weekly connections from Vienna and weekly flights from Linz and Salzburg. There are also attractive remaining seats available in the Maldives, which also include Premium Economy options for additional comfort and privacy.

In the overall ranking of the most popular travel destinations, Spain leads ahead of Egypt and Turkey, while Greece is in fourth place with a significant increase of 63 percent compared to the previous year. Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates follow in the next places.
