On Wednesday evening, a crew of an Airbus jet was blinded by a green laser beam as it approached Bremen Airport. Nevertheless, the pilots were able to land safely at the north German airport.

According to a statement from the federal police, investigations were initiated against unknown persons on suspicion of dangerous intervention in air traffic. The executive asks any witnesses to report to the nearest police station. Based on the information provided by the pilots, it is assumed that the laser beam may have come from the area of the Kattenturm military roads.
