British Airways is withdrawing from Nuremberg

The IAG group member British Airways will discontinue the non-stop connection between London Heathrow and Nuremberg at the beginning of February 2024. This means you are completely withdrawing from this airport, which is located in the state of Bavaria.

This means that Nuremberg Airport will lose connection to the IAG hub London Heathrow. This is the third loss of a hub connection within a very short period of time, as Austrian Airlines (Vienna) and Swiss (Zurich) also withdraw from Nuremberg.

The competition has already reacted to the developments, as Air France is expanding the number of weekly connections to the Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub. KLM is increasing its flights to the Amsterdam hub to up to four daily.
