Burgas Airport temporarily closes due to runway renovation

Due to runway renovation, Burgas Airport will be closed from March 7th to 30th, 2024. Some airlines are suspending their offers, others are temporarily relocating to other airports.

Due to necessary repair work, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management JSC will temporarily close Burgas Airport to all flights from 06:00 a.m. on March 7 to 23:59 p.m. on March 30, 2024. The airport's temporary closure is due to maintenance work to improve the safety of the runway and lighting system ahead of the start of the active 2024 summer season.
