In the BER security area: Burger King and Starbucks open

At Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, passengers no longer have to miss out on burgers, milkshakes, etc. after going through security, as Burger King and Starbucks have opened franchise branches in the security area of ​​Terminal 1.

Departing passengers at Burger King can look forward to a 329 square meter fast food restaurant with self-order terminals and more than 120 seats. Starbucks offers travelers the opportunity to enjoy specialty coffees and cold and warm snacks before departure in more than 100 square meters of space and 28 seats.

“We are very pleased about the two new catering units from Burger King and Starbucks at BER. In total, our passengers now have the choice between eight different concepts on the airside food court. With the SSP Group, we have a strong partner at our side at BER. The expansion shows the attractiveness of the airport location as well as the good cooperation between the airport company and the local companies,” said BER boss Aletta von Massenbach.
