Cameroon-based airline Camair-Co plans to expand its fleet. To do this, they want to purchase a used Boeing aircraft from Ethiopian Airlines.

Camair-Co has a long and eventful company history behind it. Flight operations had to be stopped several times due to, among other things, the corona pandemic. It currently has two Boeing 737-700s, one Boeing 767-300, two de Havilland Dash 8-400s, one Embraer ERJ-135 and one ERJ-145.

According to a report in the newspaper “Eco Matin”, they are looking to buy another Boeing model. They are in discussions with Ethiopian Airlines and a bank through which they would like to finance the project. It is currently unclear exactly what type of machine it is. Both Ethiopian and Camair-Co initially declined to comment on the media report.
