Cathay Pacific will start direct flights between Hong Kong and Munich from mid-June 2025.

The connection will be operated four times a week with an Airbus A350-900. This will make Munich the second German destination in the airline's route network after Frankfurt. With this new connection, Munich Airport is strengthening its role as a hub for Asian traffic, while Hong Kong serves as an important international hub for the region. The flights are intended to open up new travel options for both business travelers and tourists.
