Brussels South Charleroi Airport expects over 18 passengers during the autumn holidays from October 3 to November 2024, 510.000.

On average, around 30.000 passengers and 188 flights are handled every day. The Mediterranean and the Canary Islands are particularly popular travel destinations. Many families use the two-week vacation to visit relatives abroad.

Airport chief Philippe Verdonck recommends that travellers arrive at the airport three hours before departure to avoid possible waiting times. Passengers are also asked to ensure that they have valid travel documents required for their destination.
