On January 15, 2024, there was a serious accident involving a Thrush 710P at Panguilemo Airport (Chile). The plane crashed near a highway and hit a power pole.

The plane flying for Air Andes came far too close to an electricity pylon near Ruta 5 near Panguilemo. It is still completely unclear why the pilot flew so close to the line.
