In cooperation with the Bonn public utilities, Cologne/Bonn Airport has set up 60 new charging points for electric cars in the P1 parking garage.
These charging stations, with a charging capacity of up to 22 kW per charging point, have been in operation since the beginning of September. Users can activate the stations with common charging cards, the TankE network app or QR codes. Additional charging points are planned in the P2 and P3 parking garages to promote the expansion of electromobility on the airport premises. The cooperation is part of the airport's sustainability strategy, which aims to become climate-neutral by 2045.
