On Sunday, a Condor flight took off for the first time from Frankfurt am Main (FRA) to Los Cabos Airport (SJD) in Mexico.

Flight DE2124 with around 250 passengers on board an Airbus A330-900neo took off at around 13:35 p.m. and was greeted with a celebratory water fountain and a welcome ceremony upon arrival in Los Cabos. With this first flight, Condor is opening a new long-haul connection that will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays in the winter flight schedule.

The Los Cabos region, located on the Pacific, offers holidaymakers a diverse natural backdrop with mountains and desert landscapes and is a popular place for whale watching and water sports such as diving, snorkeling and surfing. In addition to Los Cabos, Condor will also be launching flights to the Thai destinations Bangkok and Phuket in the 2024/25 winter flight schedule. According to Condor, the Airbus A330-900neo aircraft used offer modern on-board comfort and high fuel efficiency.
