Deutsche Bahn and Condor expand cooperation for train travel to Frankfurt

Advertising

Deutsche Bahn (DB) and Condor have expanded their partnership to offer travelers even more convenient ways to travel to Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt am Main. Effective immediately, passengers booking a Condor long-haul flight can select suitable train connections when booking their flight. This service is available from 21 German train stations, ensuring a convenient and seamless connection between train and flight.

The expanded collaboration allows Condor customers to book their train journey and flight in one transaction. They also benefit from advantages such as free seat reservations on the train, optimized transfer times, and a free rebooking service in the event of delays. Condor Business Class guests also receive access to DB Lounges. The collaboration also includes a wider selection of train stations, including key hubs such as Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Cologne.

Stefanie Berk, Member of the Board of Management for Marketing & Sales at DB Fernverkehr, emphasizes that traveling by climate-friendly train makes an important contribution to sustainable mobility. Thanks to the use of 100 percent green electricity in DB long-distance services and the integrated services of both companies, travelers should reach their destinations even more comfortably. Deutsche Bahn expects a further increase in passenger numbers, as cooperation between aviation and rail has consistently led to double-digit growth rates in the past.
