Düsseldorf Airport has started re-tendering for catering spaces. Interested entrepreneurs can apply for a total of 12 spaces. These will be awarded in three lots, according to the airport.

In the previous year, Düsseldorf Airport achieved sales of around 56 million euros in the Food & Beverage business segment. The tender covers eight areas in the public area and four areas in the airside area of the airport. In the first lot, two areas will be given to bakeries. Smaller companies from the region are also expressly encouraged to apply here. The second lot includes four areas with different focuses, from fast food to a café and restaurant with a high take-away focus to the conference center. The third lot with six areas is also a colorful mix of cafés, fast casual restaurants and snack concepts. The contract term applies from 2026, in individual cases from 2027, and lasts ten years.
