Emirates has resumed flight operations to Adelaide, Australia, and now offers daily connections to and from Dubai.

The connection, with a Boeing 777-200LR capable of carrying 302 passengers, will provide over 4.200 seats per week and significantly support South Australia's economy and tourism. The South Australian Tourism Commission expects this to generate additional tourism expenditure of around $62 million annually and over 300 new jobs. In addition, up to 196 tonnes of cargo can now be transported per week, including high-value exports such as seafood, meat products, fruit and vegetables.

In addition to the Australian connections, Emirates has signed MoUs with Vietnam Airlines and VietJet to optimise travel connectivity between Dubai and Vietnam. Emirates customers will thus have improved connections to numerous domestic and regional Vietnamese destinations. The cooperation also strengthens Vietnamese passengers' access to the Emirates global network.
