Emirates sets course for Colombia

From June 3, 2024, golf carrier Emirates Airline will also offer direct flights to Bogotá from Dubai. It is an “extension” of an existing USA route.

As part of the Fifth Freedom, the route will in future be as follows: Dubai via Miami to Bogotá. So far this route “ends” in Miami. With effect from June 3, 2024, it will continue to Bogotá. The route will be served daily by Boeing 777s.

“We have long wanted to serve Colombia, and adding Bogota to our network is part of our strategy to create better connections, expand options and choice for travelers, and deliver unparalleled premium experiences on the ground and in the air. The launch of daily flights to Colombia's dynamic capital also underlines our strong commitment to South America and will offer our customers more options for business and leisure travel," said Emirates CEO Tim Clark.
