Entry: Kenya has introduced Electronic Travel Authorization

Since January 5, 2024, people who want to enter Kenya no longer need a classic visa, provided they have a suitable passport. However, an electronic entry registration must be completed beforehand.

This should be done at least three days, but a maximum of three months, before the planned entry via the Kenya government homepage. The so-called “Electronic Travel Authorization” is mandatory, but it is no guarantee that entry will actually work on the spot. Important: The electronic document must also be filled out and carried with you if you have children traveling with you.
