Eurojet supplies 59 engines for Spain's Eurofighter fleet

Eurojet Turbo GmbH has signed a contract with the NATO authority NETMA for the supply of 59 EJ200 engines for the Spanish Air Force.

The new engines, which are part of the Eurofighter procurement project "Halcón", will be delivered from 2029. Production will be carried out by Rolls-Royce, MTU Aero Engines, ITP Aero and Avio Aero, with ITP Aero taking over final assembly. The EJ200 engine is considered a key component of the Eurofighter Typhoon fleet and contributes to European defence capabilities.
