Eurowings discontinues flights between Stuttgart and Belgrade

The low-cost airline Eurowings has announced that it will no longer continue the seasonal connection between Stuttgart and Belgrade in 2025. The flights, which were offered three times a week during the summer months between May and October, have thus been discontinued. The decision affects a long-standing connection that has been operated by Eurowings and its predecessor Germanwings since 2007, with the exception of the years 2019 and 2020.

In the future, Eurowings will continue to offer seasonal flights from Düsseldorf to Belgrade, while Air Serbia will continue to operate year-round flights between Belgrade and Stuttgart from next summer. From 2025, the Serbian airline plans to offer the connection four times a week.

Eurowings had operated the route from Stuttgart to Belgrade during the summer months in recent years, but demand for the connection next year no longer seems to be sufficient to continue the flight schedule.
