Eurowings expands its service from Salzburg

Eurowings is expanding its flight schedule from Salzburg, adding new destinations and additional frequencies in the fall and winter of 2025/26. Passengers can look forward to expanded travel options, particularly to Southern Europe and the Middle East. This adjustment to the flight schedule aims to meet the increased demand for certain destinations and optimize the offering for holidaymakers and travelers.

There is good news for fans of the Spanish metropolis of Barcelona: The route will be extended from summer until November 10th. Additional flights are planned during the Bavarian and Austrian autumn school holidays to meet the increased demand. Barcelona will also be served every Monday and Friday over the Christmas period, from December 19th, 2025 to January 5th, 2026. The Catalan capital will also be accessible during the semester break from February 9th to 23rd, 2026. Starting with the summer flight schedule, which begins on March 27th, 2026, Eurowings will once again serve Barcelona continuously. The Balearic island of Mallorca, a popular destination for German and Austrian holidaymakers, will also be served until the beginning of November and over the Christmas holidays. From the beginning of March 2026, Eurowings will then once again fly to Palma several times a week.

A highly sought-after new destination will be added to the program during the Christmas season in 2025: Eurowings will offer a total of seven flights to Pristina in the Republic of Kosovo. This test run from December 18, 2025, to January 6, 2026, could lead to a long-term inclusion of Pristina in the flight program if the connection develops successfully. In addition, Eurowings will fly to Beirut, Lebanon, every Monday during the 2025/26 winter season. These expansions underscore Eurowings' commitment to strategically expanding its route network from Salzburg and thus responding to the needs of different passenger groups.

In addition to these innovations and expansions, Eurowings is maintaining its established offerings. These include year-round city connections to Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg, as well as popular summer destinations around the Mediterranean, including Hurghada, Burgas, Corsica, Karpathos, Corfu, Kos, Crete, Rhodes, Zakynthos, Calabria, Cyprus, Ibiza, and Palma de Mallorca. The winter flight schedule also includes Marsa Alam and the Canary Islands (Gran Canaria, Tenerife), offering Eurowings a wide range of destinations for travelers from Salzburg.
