Eurowings introduces new premium seats on medium-haul flights

The airline Eurowings has announced the introduction of a new seat category for its Business Class. The so-called Premium BIZ Seat will be available for the first time on the route Berlin-Dubai be available.

The new seats are arranged in a 2×2 arrangement in the front part of the Airbus A320neoaircraft, providing more legroom and improved comfort on medium-haul routes. This creates a total of eight exclusive seats per aircraft. Eurowings is the first German airline to offer such a premium seating concept in a Single-aisle-aircraft.

The introduction of the seat is part of a broader product and service offensive by the company and is intended to also benefit other airlines in the Lufthansa Group provide insights for the configuration of their future fleets. In this context, Eurowings for the most comprehensive fleet renewal in its history.

From 2027, the airline will operate 40 new Boeing 737-Max-8-aircraft. The new seats are intended as part of this strategy to offer travelers a higher level of comfort on longer routes.
