Eurowings is expanding its winter flight schedule from Salzburg Airport with a new direct connection to Marrakech, Morocco. Flights will be offered twice a week starting in early November.
The flight to Marrakesh takes less than four hours. The route will be served on Tuesdays and alternately on Fridays or Saturdays. The new route complements other new destinations in the winter schedule, including Beirut, Pristina, and Barcelona.
The city of Marrakech is considered the cultural center of Morocco and lies at the foot of the Atlas Mountains. It is known for its historic old town and the Djemaa el Fna Square. The new flight connection diversifies Salzburg Airport's winter offerings with another leisure destination.
