The airline Eurowings, a daughter of Lufthansa Group, is adding a new flight connection to its 2025/26 winter schedule. From 17 November 2025, the airline will operate direct flights from Hanover to Milan Malpensa fliegen.
The new route will initially operate five days a week. Between January 22 and February 9, 2026, the frequency will be temporarily reduced to three weekly flights. The flight time between the two cities is approximately two hours.
With the new connection to Milan, Eurowings expands its range of Italian destinations. The route is attractive for business travelers as well as tourists wishing to visit the metropolis in Lombardy . For Hanover Airport, the new route strengthens its international connections.
The launch of these flights underscores Eurowings ' strategy of strategically expanding its route network from regional German airports. The connection between Hanover and Milan is a response to the continued demand for direct flights between key European economic centers.
