From October 28th this year, there will be non-stop flights to Dubai three times a week at Cologne Bonn Airport. Eurowings plans to serve the UAE destination with an Airbus A320neo, which will also be stationed at the airport. This new connection will appeal not only to business travelers but also to those looking for exotic vacation destinations. Eurowings' decision to start this route is welcomed by Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.

Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, emphasizes the importance of Dubai as a top winter destination and the increased demand for direct flights to the Gulf metropolis. The connection to Dubai and the new route to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia strengthen Eurowings' position as Germany's leading holiday airline.

Dubai, with around 3,5 million inhabitants, has developed into a global trade center and tourism hotspot. In addition to impressive skyscrapers such as the Burj Khalifa, the city offers numerous beaches, shopping centers, parks and cultural attractions. Tours to the nearby desert are also popular.
