The Blau-Weiß Linz football club invited its sponsors and partners to a special business event. The event took place on Tuesday evening at Linz Airport, where approximately 100 guests enjoyed a convivial evening overlooking the runway.
After an introductory aperitif, Linz's Deputy Mayor Karin Hörzing and State Parliament Member Klaus Mühlbacher opened the evening with their welcoming remarks. Norbert Draskovits, Managing Director of Linz Airport, then presented insights into the work of the long-standing main sponsor. Another highlight was a discussion with Managing Director Christoph Peschek, Chairwoman Sandra Mayerhofer, Sports Director Christoph Schößwendter, Head Coach Gerald Scheiblehner, and player Thomas Goiginger, in which the past season and the goals for the upcoming season were discussed.
The highlight of the evening was the keynote speech by renowned scientist and geneticist Professor Markus Hengstschläger on the topic of "Genes, Talents, Sport," which captivated the audience. Afterwards, participants took the opportunity to socialize at the flying buffet. Managing Director Christoph Peschek thanked the sponsors and partners for their support and emphasized the importance of the network for the club's goal of consolidating FC Blau-Weiß Linz's place in the Bundesliga.
