February 2023: Wizz Air had 3.786.739 passengers

Wizz Air Group had a total of 2023 passengers on board in February 3.786.739. In a direct comparison with the same month last year, the increase was 97,1 percent. The occupancy rate is reported by the group as 98,3 percent.

At the same time, the carrier announced that in the summer of 2023 the fleet of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is to be increased to nine machines. An additional Airbus A321neo is to be based in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Wizz Air has announced that it will temporarily suspend flights to and from Chisinau, Moldova, effective March 14, 2023, due to safety concerns. From the same date, Wizz Air will expand its flight operations from Iasi, Romania to serve its Moldovan customers.
