Flight attendants: Verdi and Eurowings reach an agreement

At the beginning of this week, the Verdi union and Eurowings agreed on higher wages for flight attendants. They should receive between 10,8 and 14,4 percent more salary per month.

There is also a one-off payment of 2.000 euros. The lowest salary level to date is also to be abolished. Long-term employees and senior flight attendants (pursers) should generally receive more pay in the future because their positions should be upgraded in the tables.

Verdi is satisfied with the outcome of the negotiations. It is emphasized that a necessary increase in salaries could be negotiated. Now it's up to the Verdi members who fly for Eurowings, because they still have to vote on whether the compromise will be accepted or not.
