The leisure airline Corendon Airlines has appointed Paul Schwaiger as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). He succeeds Mine Aslan, who contributed significantly to the airline's success. Schwaiger has been working for Corendon in an advisory capacity since March 2024 and is familiar with its internal processes.
Yildiray Karaer, founder and CEO of Corendon Airlines, expressed his delight at the appointment of Paul Schwaiger, who will be responsible for the company's commercial activities on an interim basis. Karaer highlighted Schwaiger's strategic and operational expertise, which he has already contributed to the further development of sales processes in recent months.
Paul Schwaiger himself expressed his honor at the new position and intends to work with the Corendon Airlines team to shape the company's secure and profitable future. Corendon Airlines serves important tourist destinations in Europe and Turkey with Turkish and European licenses and celebrates its 20th anniversary this spring. During the 2025 summer season, the airline will fly from numerous airports in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to popular vacation destinations and maintains its own bases in Düsseldorf, Hanover, Cologne-Bonn, and Nuremberg. Schwaiger looks back on a long career in aviation, including with the Lufthansa Group, SunExpress, and Condor, and is well-connected in sales circles and with tour operators.
